Day 17, June 1, 2014

Good news! Today I have health insurance!  The hike out of Dismal Falls was crucial. My legs and feet were beat. 13.1 AT miles. 13.9 total. Woods Hole Hostel is a heavenly place. I was greeted by Nelville. What a beautiful hearted woman! She directed me to check in. I signed in for the bunk house but it was full all but the full bed. The full bed was for couples and "two folk." I waited patiently and that's the one I got. Dinner was nothing short of delicacy in my mouth. Homemade Ranch & Vinergerette, Salad picked out of the garden, fresh baked bread, homemade lasagna with zucchini and broccoli also from the garden. All endless. Plus we got some ice cream cones to end it off. Splendid!

I helped with drying dishes. Met up with some ole pals and had enjoyable company! Bed at 10 p.m. for breakfast at 8 a.m. Headed to Pearisburg tomorrow. Re supply til Daleville. Ambitiously I'd love to be in Daleville by Saturday morning. Another Trail Days is going down. Free food and camping all weekend.

Splendid view with IHOP.

Flaming azaleas I believe.

Huge obstacle on the trail. I took it on by doing a back flip, kick flip 360 and landing on my butt. Jk

Big tree obstacle.

Woods Hole Hostel.

Fire pit and I think that's my pal Cheecho. Representing the beautiful State of North Carolina!!
